We’ve been getting some questions about how to keep yoga balls in the classroom from rolling all over the place. It’s a great question! Yoga balls are wonderful for students…. they offer your kiddos the movement they need in a safe and convenient way. From a design standpoint, they come in many different colors to suit your decor.
But how do you keep them from rolling all over the place?? Here are several options:
Solution 1: Yoga Ball with Stability Ring (also comes in several gorgeous colors!)
Solution 2: Yoga Ball with Feet. We love these Giaim kids yoga balls; they seem sturdier than some other brands!
Solution 3: Yoga Ball Chair. This is the most expensive solution, but they are awesome (I want one for my desk)!!!
With back support:
Solution 4: Throw a frisbee under it!
Solution 5: Put a paper plate under it. Change it out now and then.
Solution 6: Use a pool noodle (formed into a circle with duck tape) to hold the balls in place.
Solution 7: Put some sand in the ball so it doesn’t roll as easily. I don’t really know how to do this, but I heard about it on Pinterest. 😀
